Disney Hotels

Personally I prefer to stay in a Disney operated hotel on Disney property, but there are definite savings to be had if you stay offsite, which may well outwiegh the advantages in staying on-site, depending on your budget, and Disney have always been very accommodating when it comes to specific room requests.

This section contains up to date information about the very best hotels that Disney has to offer located in the heart of the Walt Disney World resort in Florida, including information about the Express Checkout service.

Disney owns and operates various hotels within the boundaries of the Walt Disney World resort in Florida, ranging from budget accomodation such as the All Star Sports, Music and Movies hotels, through to the Modern Contemporary resort, and the ultra luxurious Grand Floridian Beach resort, with prices to match.

Disney Transportation to the various parks and attractions is provided in the form of a free bus service, with buses running roughly every 15 mins, or more frequently during busy periods.

I haven't stayed in all of them myself, so some of the information provided here has been gleaned either from advertising brochures, reports from people that have been, or through various messages appearing in selected internet newsgroups, and on Fidonet.
