The Dolphin is owned and operated by Sheraton, and compliments it's neighbour the Swan.   The exterior of the hotel is decorated in a giant mural of banana leaves, and it is topped by two 56-foot tall dolphin statues.  The main building is a 27 story turquoise triangular tower, which is flanked by four coral coloured guestroom wings, each nine storys high, that stretch out towards the shores of Crescent lake.

The hotel also features a large convention center, and has an Exxon Gas (Petrol) station located near the main entrance to the resort, so is a very convenient hotel if you've got a hire car.

There are a total of 1,509 rooms at the Dolphin, including 136 suites.  Each room is decorated with lamps the shape of palm trees, and coluorful curtains and bed linen.   Each room features either two double beds, or one King sized bed, a mini-bar, coffee-maker, iron and ironing board, and vanity / dressing areas.

Located within the main triangular building are a number of concierge rooms which are well equipped to accommodate disabled guests.  24h room service is availble to all rooms within the resort.
