Personally I prefer to stay in a Disney
operated hotel on Disney property, but there are definite
savings to be had if you stay offsite, which may well outwiegh
the advantages
in staying on-site, depending on your budget.
This section contains a range of Hotels outside of the Walt
Disney World resort, that may provide a more cost effective
option, depending on your particular itenerary.
Although Disney owns and operates various hotels within
the boundaries of the Walt Disney World resort in Florida,
there are also a great number of hotels, Motels, and private
dwellings available outside of the Walt Disney World Resort,
which also provide an excellent base
Non Disney operated accommodation don't benefit from the
excellent Disney transportation system, however, most local
hotels do put on some form of regular free coach service
to and from the most popular attractions, although the frequency
depends very much on the season, and other external factors.
I don't recommend or warrant any of the accommodation listed
here, but list it simply to provide some alternative suggestions
to travellers that don't wish to stay on WDW property. The
inclusion of any particular accommodation on this page should
not be regarded as a statement about it's merits, similarly
the omission of any particular accommodation doesn't mean
there's anything wrong with it.
