The Wildhorse Saloon is located at the Disney Pleasure Island
complex in the Downtown Disney area, and stands on the former
site of its predecessor, the Fireworks Factory. Overall the saloon
is 27,000 square feet in size, split on two levels.
The Wildhorse Saloon is a partnership of Nashville-based Gaylord
Entertainment Company and Chicago-based The Levy Restaurants,
which also owns and operates Portobello Yacht Club and Fulton's
Crab House at Walt Disney World Resort.
The club provides live Country music dance, and entertainment,
plus an American barbeque restaurant. This location is the first
roll-out unit of the world-famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville,
Tennessee, recipient of the 1997 "Standing Room Only" Award from
the Country Music Association for the best Country dance club
in America. It is also the site for rcordings of the "Wildhorse
Saloon Dance Show" on The Nashville Network(TNN).
The new Wildhorse will carry on Nashville's reputation of launching
hot, emerging artists and dances from all facets of Country music.
