The
House of Blues at Downtown Disney West Side marks HOB Entertainment,
Inc.'s sixth restaurant/concert venue nationwide. Additional House
of Blues grace West Hollywood, CA; Chicago, IL; Cambridge, MA;
New Orleans, LA; and Myrtle Beach, SC.
The original House of Blues was established in Cambridge, Massachusetts
in 1992 by Isaac Tigrett, founder and CEO of HOB Entertainment,
Inc.
The Downtown Disney West Side location is a 57,000 square foot
structure housing a 2,000-person concert hall and a 500-seat restaurant
offering an array of foods from the Bayou. Live music seven days
a week in both concert hall and restaurant featuring world-class
and local artists from the worlds of blues, rock 'n' roll, R&B,
hip hop, alternative, country, gospel, jazz and Brazilian rock.
House of Blues concert venue utilizes the most technically-advanced
light and sound system.
House of Blues is modeled after an aid-time Mississippi jukejoint
with distressed wood and rusted metal comprising the interior
and exterior design.
The House of Blues is open for dining and shopping from 11:00
AM until 02:00 AM
The restaurant area serves both Lunch and dinner menus, featuring
authentic Mississippi Delta style dishes from jambalaya to etouffee,
served to a background of nightly live music, including blues,
R&B, jazz and country.
There's a huge concert hall featuring top artists performing
live on special nights as well as Gospel Brunches every Sunday.
