Fossil Preparation Lab

[Disney Vacation Planner]

At A Glance Genuine preservation is the name of the game at the Fossil preparation lab, where guest experts work to restore real fossils, whilst answering questions from guests.

The Fossil Preparation Lab is a small building in Dinoland USA that focuses on restoring found bones, including a sneak peek into the restoration work on "Sue," the most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton ever found.

There's usually a palentologist working cleaning, cataloguing and photographing a genuine fossilised dinosaur bone, while a couple of cameras with monitors show a closeup view of the work being undertaken.
