Great interactive bird and
animal show in a 700 seat amphitheatre. |
Flights of Wonder is a live show performed at the
700-seat Caravan Stage within the Asia section of Disney's Animal
Kingdom, which opened in late Februray 1999.
The show which lasts for 20 minutes is supposed to
be a celebration of the various forms of birds around the world
- everything from chickens to hawks and eagles perform demonstrations
such a hunting by the hawks, down to just plain humurous showing
off by Groucho the Parrot.
Because the show features birds in free flight the
Caravan Stage is an open-air setting, so although performances
are held at various times throughout the day, they may be postponed
if the weather is particularly bad for any reason.
