Click for larger imageStar Tours located in Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris is an excellent motion simulator style attraction, in which guests board one of six "vehicles" each seating up to 40 people, and are then treated to a six minute simulator ride through space at the hands of a novice pilot on it's first trip.

Along the way the robotic pilot has to dodge meteorites, near colisions, and a star wars inspired calactic battle.

Much of the commentary in the attraction, including the introduction, is in French, with English sub-titles, which detracts a little fromt he experience when compared to the Walt Disney World version, however the ride itself leaves one witht he impression that it is slightly better overall that the Walt Disney World version, maybe because it feels a little rougher. (The Walt Disney World version is a little too smooth and tame for its own good).

Being one of the most popular rides in Discoveryland it does tend to attract long queues, particularly after mid morning as the number of people in the park starts to build up, however the queueing area is mostly indoors, which can be a relief in bad weather. The queues do tend to move quite slowly however.

The best time to ride the attraction is first thing in the morning before the long queues start to build up
