Blue Lagoon Restaurant

Very popular restaurant partly
located within the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. |
The
Blue Lagoon Restaurant in Adventureland is themed to resemble
a caribbean paradise with sandy beaches, palm trees and thatched
huts, set under permanent moonlight skies. In order to achieve
the effect, the restaurant, which is located just to the left
of the entrance to the Pirates of the Caribbean, opens up
into part of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, so both "borrows"
some of the theming from pirates, and in turn "lends"
its own theming to Pirates, adding to the ambience of both
attractions.
The Blue Lagoon is a full service restaurant,
and is one of the more popular restaurants in the park, so
it's advisable to book early to reserve a table for later
in the day.
The restaurant specialises in a selection of
exotic fish and seafood dishes such as Salmon, Lobster, and
the highly recommended Swordfish, alongside various Caribbean
speciality dishes.
Part of the novelty of the Blue Lagoon is that
sharing part of the building that houses the Pirates of the
Caribbean attraction, it resembles a beach-front restaurant,
with boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction gently
floating by as diners enjoy their meal.
As with most of the Disneyland Paris restaurants,
and unlike many of the similar restaurants at the Walt Disney
World resort in Florida, The Blue Lagoon features an alcoholic
wine list.
